08/2008 Geotectura
Studio was invited to participate in the competition for the Architectural
Design of a Master Plan for The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute and the Erection
of The Polonsky Academy Building. For half a
century the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute has served as a center for
intellectual and cultural life in Jerusalem. The design of a new master plan
on an area of 26,000 square meters will need to achieve harmony between the
planned buildings and the existing wonderful buildings of the Van Leer
Jerusalem Institute (designed in 1965 by the architects David Reznick and Shimon Pobzner),
the National Academy of Sciences and the Council for Higher Education. |

04/2008 Geotectura Studio together with Axelrod-Grobman
Architects and Chen Architects were chosen to be among the 7 finalists to design a proposal for the Tel Aviv University's
Porter School of Environmental Studies. The winning team will design the
PSES building according to principles of green design with technologies and
materials that will reduce the building's impact on the environment. It will
be TAU's first "green building", and one of the first of its kind
in Israel. The building itself is expected to serve as a "living
laboratory" for teaching and research on green architecture, both within
the University and outside. The construction of the first phase will be
completed by November 2010. |

by the American Magazine METROPOLIS. |

Magazine CONCEPT is dedicating a special review to the PV4All philosophy of
GEOTECTURA which received honorable mention in the Lisbon Ideas Challenge
Competition that was held in Portugal, 2006. |

Challenge Competition organized by Arup and WaterAid.
The ceremony and exhibition to be held in London. A prototype of the project
