Can a gasoline station be green?
This was the challenge we had to confront when we were asked to design a gasoline station and commercial buildings in east Europe.
Our first reaction was to let someone else to design it, but we gave this another thought because designing green cannot be only for those who seek it, it should be implemented in all kinds of architecture and maybe even more in polluting industries.
The green gasoline will be like no other, it will have rechargeable poles for electric cars alongside with regular car treatment. The service area and cafe will be below ground living the horizon unblocked.
Using green energy from the wind and the sun will supply all the electricity for this complex, making the gasoline station ready for a rainy (with no gasoline) days…
