EcHotel

Using a vertical program enables us to adjust the hotel to a sustainable era – the hotel can grow as its infrastructures multiple the existing dwelling units' capacity by dynamic transformation of the balconies into more rooms. A hotel that changes its size according to the changing needs of its residents is essentially more economical. This ecological hotel with its minimal footprint and polycrystalline PV modules integrated facades cannot be seen from the approached path because it is sunk beneath the mountain's crest. The rest of the structure does not sit on the ground, but rather "hovers" above it with acupuncture steel columns while the surrounding nature gradually transforms into the hotel roof gardens. The ridge itself becomes a view and not just a background from within the rooms. In this way the 360 degree experience of nature is manifested and experienced throughout the hotel.
